Kundalini Yoga is many things and maybe nothing of what you expect.
It is also called the Yoga of Awareness. It is an encompassing form of yoga that includes postures, body locks, breathing techniques, mantra and meditation to balance your mind, body and soul. Each class is different, each class has a specific topic and holds the space for you to confront and transform blocked energy – be it physical, mental or emotional.
It is a powerful journey of self-healing, personal growth and transformation.
Kundalini Yoga can be an amazing tool to help you to live: It helps you to deal better with stress, lethargy or the emotional turmoil of the everyday life as well as those not-so-ordinary events in life that throw you off. You learn to control your mind. You learn to trust your senses again. It helps you to deeply relax, to challenge yourself, to change your habits, to love yourself, to heal yourself through your body. It gives you energy and calmness. It helps you discover yourself, to truly get to know yourself. However, more than that, it can be a way of living, of relating to yourself and your surroundings: with awareness. It teaches you to take responsibility for yourself and then share your gifts to serve this world.
It’s falling in love with yourself and with life again. It’s awareness. Most of all, Kundalini Yoga is an experience of your Self.
